When she was 15 or 16 Laura and her BFF Nuala used to regularly come in ‘Casino’ the skate shop in Leicester I worked at full time on my gap year. I like to think they came in just to talk to me whilst I mumbled back, however my colleagues with social skills ten-fold of mine would more than likely have been the attraction of the shop.
I recently spoke to Nuala who informed me of what Laura had been up to in 2008 (winning miss England) I was completely oblivious even though I had seen a thousand pictures of her in the London paper. Just before Laura went to South America for 5 weeks, we arranged to do this shoot at Nualas with clothes off of her bedroom floor.
