Rivers Cuomo Is Hilarious

The Weezer album that got released this week is called Hurley and has a picture of Jorge Garcia - Hurley from Lost to you and me - on the front cover. That’s it really. What else is there to say?

I could eek this out over three hundred words, talking about how I had to Wikipedia the term Post Modern for the second time this month to explain it to myself, or I could break down why the straight up ‘when Rivers met Hurley’ fan photo on the cover makes all the Holga photos on ‘indie rock’ album covers look like the corniest, most self involved shit ever, or I could make a jokes about Rivers boning Japanese girls and going to trance clubs like that’s not the oldest news ever.

What I’m going to do instead of those things is just put up a two year old video of him to remind you that the most hilarious thing about Rivers is that his attitude and outlook is so far removed from that of the limp emo fans who worship him, that he’s basically a snide, sarcastic jock.

    This was a fucking terrible article. Thanks for telling us what you didn't say, and telling us how you were above it all, it made for great reading. Only an idiot would describe Rivers Cuomo as a jock and it doesn't matter what adjectives you put in front of it, you are still wrong and stupid.

    That is not a two year video of Rivers, it is of WEEZER. Him and the rest of the band have a great sense of humour and they are not snide - I really doubt you even know what that word means, and you really don't know anything about Rivers or you would know he was depressed for a very long time - hows that for 'an outlook that is far from "emo"'. For fucks sake you clearly don't know jack shit about Weezer or Rivers so heres an easy solution, DON'T write articles about them you utter fucking retard.

    Metallica are a band. What others words can I write? I could make a joke about how I had to wikipedia Intelligence to for the seventh time to explain it to myself, or break down how I hate jews, and I could say how all their album covers make God look like a goat, but I won't. Basically I will say I know that all of them are cheerleaders, so far from the indie kids that worship them, because I saw a video lolz. Check out what crazy kids they are!:
