Radioclit and a guy called Esau Mwamwaya -an African singer from Malawi who runs a furniture shop in Clapton- have done an album together. It’s so good makes me forgive the blonde guy in Radioclit for dreading his beard. Listening to it makes me feel as if I am drinking/dancing with Paul Simon on some next Graceland hype.
The pessimist in me tells me to treat it with disdain, like a gap year kid who has been “building” schools in Kenya. I can’t, because it’s a blast, still, and I am now Tingly and warm, on par with some of the feelings evoked from the first viewing of the Lion King.
