Somos Lo Que Hay (We Are What We Are) is a Mexican-macabre arty-horror picture about cannibals. It’s being called a piece of social-commentary, which is often some fucking pretentious move by the film-makers to justify excessive gore. But imma try not to be so cynical here. The trailer’s pretty enigmatic but it gets increasingly intense, I think this’ll be great. Wonder if it will answer the age-old problem of how you’re supposed to go about cooking a person?
