This Wednesday (that’s the 19th August, stupid), This Is Music, Rockfeedback and Rough Trade will join forces like music Power Rangers to host a secret show by Texan bad lads The Strange Boys. More than able support comes from Male Bonding and Deep Sht (which funnily enough is exactly what the night promises to be).
Because it’s taking place at what we’ve been told is a ‘secret location’, you’ll need to email the venue direct in order to get directions: hackneyroad.warehouse@gmail.com. We’ve been told the nearest tube is Bethnal Green, if that’s not reveling too much.Tickets are £5 (available from here) and there’s no guestlist apparently, which hopefully means it’ll be a beautifully egalitarian experience.
Platform are heading down to take photos and record a few vox pops, so if you see some very attractive people waving around cameras and dictaphones, come say hi.
