As the title of this post may suggest, Welsh psychedelic music hasn’t been taken away from us and locked in a cupboard with a vinyl copy of Rings Around the World. Euros Childs, the former frontman of Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci, is releasing music under his own name, and the good news is that his tunes are still sweet and otherworldly, with smatterings of Welsh, but now they will cost you absolutely sod all.  His new album, Son of Euro Child, is available for a free download when you sign up to his mailing list.

Even if this sounds like the worst thing since actually going to Wales, download it anyway because firstly, you’d be wrong, and secondly, it supports the few brave souls willing to give their music away for nothing.
