T. Reilly has started reviewing the big stack of zines that he’s received in the mail over the past few months. He first looks at Ryan De La Hoz’s new zine ‘Residual Energy’ and it looks great. So far, so good.

Platform spoke to Samantha Casolari’s about a series of photographs she did back in 2009 called ‘Lady Trucks’, documenting female truck drivers in Italy. Samantha met up with these ladies of the road in Felina, Italy, at a special truck driver’s festival.

Alice Lancaster accidentally put her digital camera in the washing machine and now won’t use anything but film. Maybe its her steady diet of bacon and eggs and Miley Cyrus, but she manages to make everything in front of the camera look pretty legendary.

Juan sent us some photographs he had taken over the past six months, charting his life from the summer until now. It looks like he’s been having a pretty good time. He also was kind enough to write some short captions so we can know for sure exactly what he’s been getting up to.

For the zine freaks and lovers who probably already know this, Brighton’s annual Zine Fest was a few weekends ago. Louie Frith went down for a nice day out and came back to us with some photos and a few tales.
