Alice Lancaster accidentally put her digital camera in the washing machine and now won’t use anything but film. Maybe its her steady diet of bacon and eggs and Miley Cyrus, but she manages to make everything in front of the camera look pretty legendary.

They must put something in the water over in Frisco because we have another great lady photographer from the city by the bay to bring to you. Andrea Sonnenberg (also known as Teen Witch) takes photos of her friends partying, tagging stuff, setting fire to trees and just generally enjoying life.

This is a life in San Francisco as seen by Sandy Kim. I’m guessing her photography may be a love/hate thing with readers, but like them or loath them her images slap you in the face and drag you into her world. There are the parts of life that are beautiful, those that are mundane and those that are hands down nasty.

Matthew Martin met up with photographer Chad Moore in New York. Having been a long time admirer of his work he persuaded Chad to send us some of his favourite work. The results were great, but if you don’t believe me see for yourself.
