Oh god, is it festival season already? But I’ve still got an an itchy gooch from Bestival. Fine, I suppose Camden Crawl is a pretty decent way to be eased in – what with it being a twenty-minute bus ride from my house.
Plus: there’s no camping, no novelty heritage acts and, unless the Hawley Arms blows up again, there’s no danger or having a gas canister explode in your face .
So in a sense, Camden Crawl is the perfect festival.
And what’s more, this year there is an extra bit of the Camden Crawl on Saturday 25th April (which is called something ghastly like the Bedroom Jam XXX dis is well bad initz) which is open to people under 18. The all-ages Saturday line-up has all the best bits of the rest of the weekend (Hockey, Brakes, Dananananaykroyd ) and it’s in way cooler venues. Unfortunately Briliantly, you can’t drink alcohol on at the under 18 venues but there will be plently of Red Bull to go around. Yay.
