Lots of things have come out of LA: prescription drug addictions, angry Mexicans, apocalyptic plumes of toxic fog and a whiny accent. Something else that’s come out of LA recently is Flying Lotus‘s label Brainfeeder. Boasting the likes of Gaslamp Killer, Toki Monsta and Daedelus, the roster is pretty much off the chain. His latest signing, Lorn, releases his debut album this month.

“My answer to that,” explains Lorn -having quoted the words of Satan to his lieutenant Beelzebub- “is ‘Nothing Else.’” And that is the title of his really rather great new record. Stop pretending you like noise music and go get it.
